Church service since lock down My how times have changed. We’re all learning new skills – social media, communication methods, blogging, Team and Zoom meetings & training with it. It’s all happening, so that we can get to meet up – howbeit – virtually. Derby church had its first Sabbath Day service on 28/03/20 via Teams and it was an absolute delight to see everyone after the announcement by the PM to ”stay at home”. We have been meeting each Sabbath since then, sharing the word through the quarterly lesson Bible study entitled “Prince of Peace” and what a blessing this has been to see and understand how our Lord Jesus Christ has been in the beginning, revealed through His word, incarnate in man, ministering miracles and proclaiming the authority of His peace. On Sabbath afternoons we have been engaged as a church in study presentations on the book of Daniel.
